An alcohol and drug evaluation may be necessary to show the court and/or district attorney that there is or isn't a substance abuse problem and how it should be addressed. An evaluation such as this may be necessary when the district attorney and the court are unwilling or unable to recognize the real problem of substance abuse, and not just the law violation.
In most sex offender de-registration matters, an evaluation is necessary to show the judge a client is no longer a threat to society and is ready to be taken off the sex offender registry list. These interviews typically take several hours and cost approximately $600 - $1200. The evaluation may or may not be necessary in your situation, but is ordinarily recommended.
We also have at our disposal Spanish translators; translators for other languages are not on hand, however, they are available. Subpoenas must always be delivered by a neutral party to the case and we have several process servers on call for this task. Cost for these and other services are in addition to the fee charged for representation and are always subject to the approval of the client.
